Draft.js entering maintenance mode - future of this repo

THIS PROJECT IS CURRENTLY IN MAINTENANCE MODE. It will not receive any feature updates, only critical security bug patches. On 31st December 2022 the repo will be fully archived.

For users looking for an open source alternative, Meta have been working on migrating to a new framework, called [Lexical](https://github.com/facebook/lexical). It's still experimental, and we're working on adding migration guides, but, we believe, it provides a more performant and accessible alternative.

This may explain @jpuri 's lack of updates and interest, though they're clearly working on similar-feature repos actively right now anyway. Either way, with Draft.js now in maintenance mode and eventually archived, this repo may be better off having some official update/notice stating that this repo is no longer maintained or updated as well.

It would be good at least if it could be updated so that it's compatible with React 18.

the idea of the new framework is fine, but at least for legacy projects it would be good to merge the PR to upgrade to react 18
