Animations for the card
Having no animations and watching the actions unfold can sometimes be quite overwhelming. It would be cool to have a some animations for cards being played so we cun understand better actions being played out!

I came here for the same reason, but I planned to just implement it myself.
But instead, I implemented something else first in #16 😆
Hey, i recognize your name as well ! Looking at your profile, it may have been from ChipDefense ! I can't code but can still spot things that would make apps more usable so i don't hesitate to open issues for those i use 😊 I really loved my time playing Hot Death ! if your pull request gets accepted i'd be happy to come back to the game to try it !
Hey @Cwpute. Yes, I was active on ChipDefense also. If you want, you can try out and comment on the attached apk inside the aforementioned PR #16. Any feedback is appreciated.
Hey, I just released the first test version with a basic animation in it over at my fork. Feel free to test, comment and look out for upcoming versions with more and more animations.
There are some gameplay bug fixes and rule interpretation changes as well.
When everything is done, it will be merged in the official app, of course.
Welp i've just tried the last build and it crashes on me when i press Play on the main screen 😵
@Cwpute Well, this is unfortunate. Sou mean, it crashes, as soon as you tap on "New Game"? Consistently? It does that for me in very rarely, as well as it does in the original app. I haven't found nor fixed the issue yet.
But most of the time, it works with all my devices and @jpriebe can also test. Maybe try today's release, though i did not change anything with the start-up.
oh yes it did finally boot up after a few tries. great animations ! i feel it could benefut from having the turn order animated as well, or changed in some way.

You hit the nail on the head. The turn order animation is one of my next steps.
Please check, if the latest version fixes the start-up crash for you

ah, i will not be available for a long time unfortunately ! if i ever get some time i'll be sure to test it but don't count on it :/
