Vert.x 5 support

This plugin doesn't work correctly with Vert.x 5.0.0.CR5, because io.vertx.core.Launcher was replaced with Vert.x Application Launcher. Are there plans to support Vert.x 5? If so, is there any chance for a pre-release compatible with CR versions?

This plugin hasn't been maintained for a long time, mostly due to Gradle introducing major breaking changes in their frequent major releases.
