Add history when searching

It would be nice to be able to hit the browser's back button to exit searching/perhaps get to an earlier search. Would also be nice to be able to refresh the page and keep the current query.

This would also make it possible to have the back button clear the active query without navigating away from the search UI.

Also, consider adding history when openinging a dialog.
