@3nprob, for me, the most usefull Spotify Connect use-cases would be: 1. Controlling Psst from my phone. 2. Reporting played tracks (Connect is more-or-less needed for this).
Sounds good! I'm not very familiar with the windows customs, something like [this from the API docs](https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/win32/shell/taskbar-extensions#thumbnail-toolbars)? Is it conventional to provide both a taskbar extension and a media player...

Hi, this is unfortunately out of scope for now.
There's currently no custom theming available.
You can resign the focus by pressing Escape. I know it's a bit unfortunate but thats the way it is for now, Druid does not have any concept of ambient...
This is slightly more difficult than it seems, because i.e. the audio output thread is stored in a `PlaybackController` widget that would get destroyed on closing the window. I suppose...
This is most probably caused by non-Vorbis audio files. MP3 playback is not supported yet.
I've added untested MP3 playback support in ace3ca1, but the track ID would help @maffelbaffel!
I'd be still interested in any CPU/GPU optimizations, so if you'd be interested to work on this anyway, we could pause the rendering when the window is hidden.
