Playable but still super lag :( Im currently using the latest build jan.10 2019

Thanks for the info!

This game does a crazy amount of texture updates every frame. The emulator has to swizzle everything which causes the game to be slow.

Just for the record, the corrupted sprite when going back to the overworld map is caused by this change: https://github.com/jpd002/Play-/commit/85ed926

Frequently tested on Shield TV Pro 2019. Still had nausea inducing texture flickering and lag until 02/27/24 (02/28/24? Always forget your time zone jpd) updates. Flickering much reduced. Speed is still an issue unless audio buffer is set to 400 then it is faster but still prone to skipping.
