RetroArch compatibility error with multiple controllers

Open rb0022 opened this issue 1 month ago • 0 comments

Game will start (GoldenEye: Rogue Agent) and has option for multiplayer (GoldenEye Splitscreen menu selection) with up to 4 controllers, which use simpler static maps that may be more playable than campaign. However the additional controllers are ignored:

  • Quick Menu > Controls > Port 1 Controls has Device Type selectable as RetroPad or PS2 DualShock 2, with Mapped Port 1 and all buttons mapped correctly
  • Quick Menu > Controls > Port 1 Controls has Device Type selectable only as RetroPad, with Mapped Port 2 and all buttons blank ---

Behaviour not witnessed in any other RetroArch Core (e.g. NS64) where both controllers are correctly recognised immediately.

Setup:

  • RPi5
  • 8BitDo SN30 Pro
  • Lakka with RetroArch Cores, PS2 Play!
  • Using SLES-52974 (using glcore or vulkan only), as SLUS-21064 would not open with PS2 Play!
