Create Bulk Merge Capability

Due to LDAP changes we find that we have a lot of accounts that are now in need of merger, but there seems to be no way to merge in bulk. It would be helpful to have a way to either upload a CSV file or some search result from Moodle itself to feed into the tool so that this is not a one-user-at-a-time operation.

Hi! Thanks for contacting.

There is already an API to process merging un bulk. But this is a PHP API that you have to implement on your behalf. It is explained on the README file.

Actually, we have it implemented on our instance on production for our specific settings.

If you want to provide a patch for supporting merging by loading CSV, it will be very welcome.
