I was completely wrong, it was broken by control themes. PR https://github.com/AvaloniaUI/Avalonia/pull/10273 should fix it, I tried the ExampleBrowser with the CI nuget and it seems to work fine.
I think drag and drop is not supported on iOS. However, that hang may have been fixed by #13942, so you should upgrade at least to v11.0.7.
Most parts are already NuGet packages, for Windows we will use InnoSetup at least for now (VS extensions can be published to the VS marketplace).
We don't need an installer.
