keyboard input broken with --follow-focus on sway

Open trillllian opened this issue 4 months ago • 2 comments

On sway, when using --follow-focus and with two displays attached, everything works fine as long as the mouse is on the main display. When moving the mouse to the second display, the password prompt moves along with it, but it seems like the keyboard focus is somehow stuck to the first display: the password input is not focused, I cannot focus it by clicking on it, and keyboard input seems to be completely ignored. The show/hide password button and the unlock button can be clicked just fine.

Running on Arch Linux, sway v1.11, gtklock v4.0.0.

PS. thanks for making this, it's a really nice lock screen :)

I also experience this bug.

I'd like to add that the timer after a wrong password input doesn't follow to the other display. The only thing i can do on my second display is click the buttons. Of course the unlock button finds an invalid password and triggers the usual small delay, but this doesn't follow to the main display, so I could try again there right away. I suppose this might be a side effect of this bug.

Edit: I think at least parts of this issue were also encountered in another gtklock issue: https://github.com/jovanlanik/gtklock/issues/98

Yes, this is the same as #98.
