How can I setup the index folder to be outside the working directory?

It's not configurable. But it's a good idea. I'll add it when I get a chance.

Please makes this happen. I usually add multiple folder to my projects and adding .gitignore files everywhere is becoming a nightmare.

Sorry, guys. I like the feature but I just don't have time for it right now. I'll accept a PR from anyone who wants to take a stab at it. Just make sure that the solution is cross-platform and puts the indexes in a sane place in the home directory (e.g. ~/.local/share/phpintel on Linux)... shouldn't need any additional configuration settings.
