Lightbox only closes when clicked / tapped next to image

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

• Open an image
• Tap above or below the image to close it

Expected behavior:

The image closes as the user doesn't realize that they should clicked next to the image (I didn't).

Actual behavior:

The image only closes when clicking next to the image.

I'm also having an issue, for some reason you simply can't click outside the image to close it. It only works when you click at the left or right of the image. Not a super big deal perhaps, but an annoyance for some users.
