I was messing around with this and found that destiny.plumbing omits inventory.bucketTypeHash from CollectableInventoryItems.json. The hashes in bucketTypeHash can be used to distinguish kinetic, energy, and power weapons. With bucketTypeHash it should be easy to add some sort of weapon type indicator to the tooltips.
