Great insight; I've also felt that pull to create after reaching a point of too much (or only) consumption. And, indeed, when it's completely up to you, it can be very relaxing and zen.

I wholeheartedly relate to the words you wrote, as I'm in the same dilemma. I call it a dilemma because of the voice in my head that screams at random moments during the day to explore that 'fog of war'—to feel the tranquility that comes after doing what needs to be done.
