Really great article, beautifully written and covering the complex ethical thinking. I tend not to use much mainstream social media because, certainly for the ethical reasons but also I find it's mostly pretty boring. I'm probably out of touch with some things but I'm fine with that. Get most of my info from RSS these days which tends to be better quality content.
