Sample: ERR during playback of out.wav

I used the makefile to build this software with this version of gcc (i think it came with brew):

Seppis-MacBook-Air:EasyVolcaSample seppi$ gcc -v
Configured with: --prefix=/Library/Developer/CommandLineTools/usr --with-gxx-include-dir=/Library/Developer/CommandLineTools/SDKs/MacOSX10.14.sdk/usr/include/c++/4.2.1
Apple LLVM version 10.0.1 (clang-1001.0.46.4)
Target: x86_64-apple-darwin18.7.0
Thread model: posix
InstalledDir: /Library/Developer/CommandLineTools/usr/bin

I then used ffmpeg to convert a small sample of quacking to wav, and then used the EasyVolcaSample binary to create an out.wav file.

When I run the out.wav file connected to my volca sample, I get an ERR until I press function.

Attached is the mp3, the converted wav and the out.wav file that I am attempting to use.

I was able to use the korg factory sample file to reset my device, so I am pretty sure it is not a problem there.

The firmware of the volca shows: 1.30 P0.09 51.00 which makes believe it is firmware version 1.30

I am going to update to 1.42 and try again!

I have updated my device to 1.42 and still have the same problem.

I notice that the *.c files are the same (if not newer) than the one from korg. I will create a ticket there.
