[Feature Request]: Manual Testmode / Pre-Live Mode
What feature would you like to see added to TallyArbiter?
Currently the test mode cycles through all busses on each device. It would be great to be able to say manually "Device A is in Program" and "Device B is in Preview".
I need that to explain to show people on the stage how the Tally lights work and to practise with them. We don't need Aux for that and the current switching of the test mode is way too fast.
Another Idea is some kind of "Pre-Live-Mode" where each Device (?) is cycled through preview and program to make sure that everything is still working as expected (probably without actions as I'd use this when the stream has already started and we're doing some kind of countdown on the program feed). That is also the reason why I cannot switch to those sources.
What do you think? Are those two different features or is that a single one?
- Add speed adjustment to test mode
- Double click/tap on a bus cell/column and it puts that Device in manual mode for that bus until you double click again
Thoughts?
Maybe have a test column on the producer page where you can flash individual tally lights that are connected? Also handy when debugging individual tally devices.
If possible I’d like it on both settings and producer. Sometimes we only use the settings page.
Understandable, but that makes the settings even more cluttered with options then that it already is.
A tabbed settings should be then considered with something along the lines of 'Connections | Cloud | Testing | Logs'
I’m open to anything 😃
Great idea👍
I divided the settings page in #204 into the following tabs:
Test Mode will be moved to the Testing tab.
Perfect! Think this will be a positive change for the user interaction as wel!
