Simple SVD +return of compressed + singular values

python control creates a sys object. Could follow the same here, but also add a second-order system. Could a data object with descriptors make more sense than xarray?

xarray would allow more comprehendible calls to data for slicing versus n-dimensional arrays. The project is already outgrowing the n-dimensional array paradigm. Converting to xarray would be beneficial, but should...
