Any way to show diffs between two commits?
I routinely rebase and clean up work-in-progress history, and one of the safe-guards I enjoyed with SourceTree was to easily diff the remote commit against the new rebased commit before force-pushing the changes. If I did not make a mistake in the rebasing, the remote and local commits will have zero differences; or if I addressed conflicts the diff will show only those changes.
Can GitFourchette do anything like that?
It can't do that yet – but that would be nice to have in a future release. I don't think it'd be too difficult to implement.
This can now be done using a custom tool, but the output is harder to parse than the diffs shown by GF. I think this should remain open and be integrated into the GUI.
