Files just don't upload sometimes

Open irrg opened this issue 8 years ago • 6 comments

I've been trying to love Grabbox 2 like I loved 1 but I frequently just get a continuous menu animation while nothing happens for a long, long time. Sometimes restarting the app finally uploads the file.

having the same issue, upload will take a long time. Temporary fix is to re-authorize the app again with dropbox api

I have also been having this issue using both Sierra and High Sierra and GrabBox 2.0.4, as has my colleague in the same office. If I can perform any testing or information that would help with a resolution, I'm more than happy to do so.

I think it's fair to say this project might be, uh, dead?

@irrg I'd welcome someone else taking a whack at it -- right now I am struggling with motivating myself to put in hours into it. Due to changes in my employment, I am no longer using GrabBox on a daily basis.

This is always the danger with a free project run by a single individual. :/

I have these bug reports as reminders in my inbox, with the hope that I'll feel inspired to dive into them, but so far it has not happened.

@jorgenpt Understandable and I'm sorry to hear that. I didn't mean to sound inconsiderate. Sometimes, though, it's better to publicly post about the situation, so that there are no weird incomplete conversations like these issue chains.

I can't really write Objective-C, at all, or I'd help out.

@irrg It is hard for me to admit it, even to myself. I don't want GrabBox to die. :)
