Git status no longer shows up upon entering repo folder until next shell prompt.

Essentially, the git status is always just 1 step behind the current status. Not sure when this started happening but I did check to make sure hydro and fish were up-to-date.

If I'm not hallucinating it, the prompt used to update as soon as I entered a repo.
