LinkedIn top news - "LinkedIn News" at top right - doesn't show with pause

I am happy to use News Feed Eradicator.
I just started using it with LinkedIn after some time with Facebook.

I notice that it blocks the News with trending stories as well as the main feed.

• When I open the menu page to pause eradicating for 5 or 10 minutes, the feed properly shows up,
• but the trending News box remains blocked.

I have to disable LinkedIn "Forever" to get the trending News box to populate.

Is that by design? I would be happy for that to come back when pausing.
