Description

Hi,

First off, thank you very much for everything you have been doing. I've been using Ice for the past 2 years since the Bartender sale fiasco.

  • In Ice setting "Menu Bar Layout", the following message is shown (cf screenshot #3): "Unable to display menu bar items"

Unsuccessful remediation tried

  1. Restarting the laptop
  2. Reinstalling Ice 0.11.13-dev.2 (complete uninstall (1) Dragging Ice to the bin and (2) Using AppCleaner)
  3. Running command sudo xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/Ice.app

Ice is displaying my menu bar items as previously set up under Sequoia, but in Tahoe on going to the Settings and selecting "Menu Bar Layout" both the Visible and the Hidden section are blank with no items in either. I am unable to change, add, or hide anything. Thank you for developing Ice - I too started using it after Bartender was sold and find it perfect.

The beta 0.11.13-dev.2 has fixed this.

The beta 0.11.13-dev.2 has fixed this.

Not for everyone.

A number of people (myself included) are still having this issue under dev.2.

+1 - same picture here. Any logfile or something we could provide to analyze the problem? BTW I already removed the app and all of its settings-dirs with AppCleaner and started anew. No betterment.
