~~There is a little difference, but still bug.~~

~~I suppose Apple may have changed the way menu bar displays.~~

Sorry for reporting bug using 11.12 and not noticing he has released 11.13 dev-2. After updating, the menubar layout can display well.

Agreed, seeing the same issue as well. Tried a few things like adding the background to the menu bar back but it just made it blue instead. I think I saw another comment where it looked like it was somehow averaging out the colors behind it, but I might be wrong.

There is a beta version release for macOS 26(11.13 dev2). Try to update.

I'm also seeing these problems right after I updated to macOS 26. I also notice that throughout the day, the app stops working!

Same Issues

I’m experiencing the same issue on macOS 26. Hovering over the menu bar doesn’t show the hidden items anymore (even though the setting is enabled), and the "Menu bar layout" tab appears empty. Additionally, when turning Ice off, the "hidden" apps become visible on the menu bar again.

how can I resolve this issue?

Thanks a lot!

I downloaded the beta version and it resolved the issue for me.

I'm using Beta 1 until this issue is resolved. I had to configure my icon layout again, but this version at least shows the menu bar icons on macOS 26.

Is there still any work being done on this issue or the project in general? macOS Tahoe has been out for a while now, and Ice is still broken. Beta 1 crashes on launch for me, and Beta 2 doesn't show any items in the overflow menu. If there's anything I can do to help move things along, I'd be happy to help!

I'm experiencing a similar issue with Version 0.11.13-dev.2. The overflow menu says "loading menu bar items" for up to a few minutes before finally populating. I'm on a macbook pro M1 with Tahoe 26.1.
