Search menu does not show any items, neither when opened nor when searching.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Open Search Bar Menu
2. Everything Looks Empty

I'm on preview release 0.11.13-dev.2, and have this blank color to the side. I'm not certain if related, but I also get unable to display menubar items error. Pasting here in case same underlying issue, but can create a new issue for that if you wish.
