[Bug]: OneDrive changes from "Hidden" to "Visible" on click
Check Existing Issues
- [X] I have checked existing issues, and this issue is not a duplicate
Description
I have multiple instances of OneDrive, one personal and one business account.
I have both set to "hidden", but on interacting with either of the instances by clicking Chevron, they both become "visible" permanently.
This may or may not be related to #300.
Steps to Reproduce
-
Set up 2 OneDrive accounts, so 2 icons are shown
-
Change both of them to "hidden" as shown here:
-
Click on one of the icons in menu bar by expanding it via the Chevron
-
Wait a few seconds, now both OneDrive icons are shown permanently:
-
Check the configuration, surprise, both OneDrive icons are now set to "Visible":
Ice Version
0.11.9
macOS Version
14.6.1

What exactly do you mean by "expanding via the Chevron"? Do you have the Ice Bar feature enabled?
What exactly do you mean by "expanding via the Chevron"?
Clicking on the "Ice Icon", which I have set to Chevron.
Do you have the Ice Bar feature enabled?
Yes I do. I cannot reproduce the bug anymore after disabling the Ice Bar feature.
I commented on the wrong issue! I can confirm, I was trying to figure out if I was misinterpreting behaviour. On any of my onedrive accounts, clicking it in the ice bar moves it to shown permanently. It seems Ice doesn't have handling for when there are multiple menu bar items with the same name. @jordanbaird
same issue here. I click one of onedrive icon. I cannot click another if i clicked the un-wanted one. They looks completely the same.
Same issue here. Once clicked one of the OneDrive icon both will be visible and never auto hide.
Same issue, also having 2 onedrive accounts.
Same here with three instances of OneDive, pretty annoying.
same, 2 accounts
