[Feature Request]: Always show hidden items if monitor screen is larger than <enter resolution>

Originally posted by jalurgemilang August 3, 2024 I feel that this feature is very useful for users who have ultrawide monitors or, using multiple monitors of different sizes. In ultrawide monitors, the hidden items are always shown. On the secondary, smaller monitor, they are hidden.

Big plus 1 to this! Its the only feature I miss since migrating from Bartender.

It might also be a nice variation to have different 'sets' for different monitors/setups (laptop, connected to home display, connected to work display, 'presentation mode')

That would be really awesome. Love this app, with this it would be perfect.

I just switched from bartender to Ice, and this was really the only feature I was missing that was nice, especially for ultrawide monitors and in my case a 5k2k display.

For those who are comfortable with building in Xcode and wrangling macOS permissions, there's a PR to add this:

https://github.com/jordanbaird/Ice/pull/413

I also have an additional change to that PR to override "Use Ice Bar" and always show the items inline in the menu on a wide screen, which is merged with main at https://github.com/lgarron/Ice/tree/optional-unhide-on-screen-width-overriding-use-ice-bar-with-main-merged
