Can't enter new text

Open betsillm opened this issue 3 years ago • 2 comments

Hello,

Installing markdown-tools somehow locks my document. When I try to to enter text (a Title, Heading, or Normal text), the text is not echoing to the screen. Instead, not matter what I type, the cursor continues to blink, and doesn't move. The Loom link shows that the add-on has been installed and I'm trying to enter text as a Title or a Heading, but it doesn't work.

What do I need to do differently?

Thanks! Marilyn

Add the text first. Highlight the text and make it a heading value. This is how Google Docs does things. Then once you have items that are headings, you can use the plugin to make heading numbers or markdown style heading numbers. But until you have done the Google Docs side of it, the plugin will not do anything.

Also, do you have a corporate policy account that is blocking the plugin?
