Hide Monitorets from window list and application switcher

First off, really amazing app! I usually keep the GNOME System Monitor open in the background at all times, but Monitorets is much less obtrusive and also nicer-looking (not a criticism of System Monitor, they're just meant for different use cases).

I usually use Monitorets in "Always on top" mode, tucked into some corner, and judging by the missing window decorations I believe it is also sort of intended to be used that way, as an overlay. But then it's a bit annoying that it keeps appearing in the alt-tab application switcher and the window list. It occupies unnecessary space in the window list, and in the alt-tab switcher you accidentally switch to it even though you meant another app.

I believe you can send a hint to the window manager to ignore a window. I think that would be a great addition to the app to have a toggle in the settings to turn this on or off. What do you guys think?

I would be open to also implementing this feature myself, with some guidance from somebody familiar with the project (is there a chatroom?).

Hello! Thank you for your idea!

Indeed, one of the ways I originally envisioned using Monitorets is as some kind of widget or overlay. I never thought of hiding the application icon form the switcher.

I may look into it, although I can not promise any dates as there are other things that I would want to do first ;)
