Allow both Insert into Post and Featured Image

I'm trying out your version that adds Featured image support, and I noticed that the normal "Insert into Post" link has been removed.

Is it possible to have both the featured image and the normal "Insert into Post" link? If so, what's the best way to add the "Insert into Post" back?

I just tried the plugin as well and I can't set a featured image with a network wide media. We'd love to make a feature image from network wide media

Let's try and resurrect this thread! I would be lovely if WP Shared Media plugin could work outside the sidebar only, since alot of WP site now run on plugins such as ACF?

+1 here too. Specifically trying to work with ACF, but featured images would be an important feature too.

There is a version at the following link, which I believe allows for a Featured Image (via the Add Media button), though not sure how to up to date it is in terms of WordPress compatibility overall:

@joostdekeijzer , I've said this last ..."whenever" (last year I think) Anytime you'd like to support the highly modified version of https://networksharedmedia.com I'd be more than happy to give it away.

I simply can't support it (and a family of 5) on my own. People are obviously asking for it.
