Renders HTML instead of ASCII

I'm using IntelliJ 2018.1.2. When I try to generate ASCII text with any font I obtain the following output

Does anyone have any clue of what is happening and how I could fix this?

Mine also does this from time to time, no idea why. This plugin doesn't seem to be updated anymore, so I wouldn't expect the issue to go away..
