Syntax highlighting works for everything...except Markdown

Not sure if this is the same issue as #72 or not. Syntax highlighting in fenced code blocks works well, but there's minimal highlighting for the actual markdown itself.

Links ([foo](http://foo.com)) are about the only thing I'm seeing actually highlighted.

OS X. Sublime build 3083.

hmm, is the --- beneath the front-matter causing it? Or the HTML? Do you use monokai-extended? It has improved support for some features.

If we can drill down to the specific cause I might be able to get it fixed. thanks for reporting

Tried without the front-matter, didn't fix it. Originally I didn't install monokai-extended, but tried it with, and then without again, still no joy.

could you paste the contents of the file to a gist, so I can try to reproduce?

I'm having this same issue, and am attempting to see if it's being caused by a conflict with another package.

Sublime 3 Build 3083 (OS X)

good to know. I've tried to reproduce again, no luck. I'll keep looking here too

@stevage, if you're still having this issue, try installing Sublime Monokai Extended, and then switching the theme via Preferences > Color Scheme > Monokai Extended.

Took me a while to figure it out, but eventually this solved for me. I'm on ST3 Dev 3095 on OSX.
