Have you considered make universal package which will run on all major distributions?

@D4v2z I will not create a flatpak because I do not know how to do it and I do not have the time to learn, because I do not need it.

The issue is labeled as help-wanted. If someone can create a flatpak, I will gladly add it to the downloads.

Not related to flatpak, but now there is an easier way to install acestream-launcher trough pip:

sudo apt-get install python-pip
pip install acestream-launcher

*This does not install acestream-engine but only the launcher.

there is already a ready-made package, but there is a problem for icon display in GNOME. Difficult to release as flathub policy prevents users from entering additional commands with pens (flatpak override --user --talk-name = org.kde.StatusNotifierWatcher) or asking the user to install additional extensions (appindicator-support, etc.). There is a way the crutch works, which I described on the site itself (I gave the link earlier), but alas, this is just a crutch.
