Proposed Enhancements for the Current GUI: A Refined Feature List

This is an incomplete list of features we previously discussed for improving the current GUI. Some might be partially implemented or under construction. If there are inaccuracies or legacy issues, feel free to modify them. @jasmainak @rythorpe @ntolley

• Don’t display any dipole curves if only recorded data is present.
• Limit the “Simulation data” dropdown menu to simulation data only.
• Keep the “Data to compare” dropdown menu exclusively for recorded data.
• Incorporate two plane plots for the histogram, similar to our old GUI.
• Omit the straight line for RMSE in the new GUI. Simply annotate the axis with text.
• Introduce an analysis tab for data manipulation, possibly in the current left panel.
• Devise a method to decrease the document build time on Github CI. Using local runners or other caching/versioning techniques may work.
