suggestion - Check on ...

Just installed it and the first thing that popped up in my head was ... an additional option to check the state of the current page/url on the given archive sited would be nice.

Like (for example):

Save on Both
- - - - - - - - - - - -
Check on Wayback Machine
Check on Archive.is
Check on Both

I'm sure there are some add-ons that will do this, or maybe even some bookmarklet's. But having it all under one easy to access icon ... well ... that would be really nice. :)

If its made a preference option users could switch that part off or on based on there personal needs.

By "check the state of the current page/url" do you mean see if it is already archived?

More or less, I think ... was thinking: 'simple links (to the archive site) that the user could use to 'manually' check if the page in question is archived' on the given archive site.

(... After that, one could ponder, for example, about extending that by greying-out the 'Check on ...' lines ... if the page in question is not precent as archived page on a/the archive site. ... But I would not go there unless some serious pondering was done on what the possible options, and possible cons might be.)

(bad idea in terms of making many requests to the sites) Maybe display days since the day was last backed up in the icon?
