[Other] Resolution of jpg reduced, recommended workflow?

Hi,

I've just started to use paperless and its working pretty well, thank you! I know fed it with a X-Ray jpg, because I want to keep this document even if it has not text on it. The original image is 1180KB, paperless turned this into a pdf with 417kb. As I would like to keep the original to be able to use it with a different doc. this is rather unfortunate. What is the recommended way on how to deal with this?

paperless-ng is pretty much abandoned. Have a look at https://github.com/paperless-ngx/paperless-ngx for a maintained fork.
