Parameters in "Reference Image and Camera Settings" do not apply immediately

The Problem

As title says, when I try to change for example LED intensity and then click on update reference image, the brightness is still the same. The same goes for every other setting which requires updating reference image. !! For some reason option "Negative" is processed immediately so there should not be "*)" next to it !!

I found out that if I go to settings and change the brightness there and after that I reboot the ESP it now has the correct brightness set. I also tested this with "Grayscale" and "Saturation" as well and they also got changed after reboot so I assume that this is probably true for all the other settings in the in the "Reference Image and Camera Settings" tab.

Logfile

There is nothing in the log related to creating reference image / changing camera settings in "Alignment > Reference Image and Camera Settings" settings.

Expected Behavior

The settings should be applied per "Update Reference Image" button click. i.e. If I choose options that are marked as "*)" the resulting updated image should have all the settings applied.

If memory serves me right this wasn't an issue... coughs... back in December 2022. (Yes I have not touched this thing in over a year :D)
