Broken Loop Points when importing

Open JJMHGhost opened this issue 7 months ago • 6 comments

hi, i and some friend are having an issue when importing an instrument sample, in the soundlist tool it seems to hear fine, but in game the loop is not right, here's an example of the BT recorder in a BK Hack

i wonder if this could get fixed by any chance? thanks!

Did you set the loop point properly? It can be difficult to do properly.

yeah, i did, but it's looped badly in-game

I am guessing you didn't do the proper spot. It uses exact timestamps in midi units. You need to use the absolute timestamp of when to loop.

i looped them at the proper spot, 00000236 and 0000055C (which is 566 and 1372 in decimal), but then in-game just breaks them for no reason even if it's at the right spot

I'd need to see the midi, but if you export with debug on you can see resulting file and check loop spot. Likely off.

i can't extract the track from the video, is not showing on the soundbank tool (either on the Banjo's Backpack)
