error in MCL clustering

Hi, I am getting this error when using the MCL clustering Error in MCL::mcl(mat, addLoops = addLoops, allow1 = TRUE, ...)$Cluster : $ operator is invalid for atomic vectors But it worked with my other inputs and they are the same but different Ontology terms (BP,MF,CC) I am using this function simplifyEnrichment(mat, method = "MCL") and compare_clustering_methods(mat) and it worked well for the rest of the cluster. Any thoughts what could be happening? Thanks
