`circos.genomicLabels` doesn't work for customized reference

Hi Zuguang, Thanks for the amazing tool. I am trying to use circos.genomicLabels to plot specific genes outside of a customized reference, but it doesn't function properly and plot labels inside the circle even though I set up side = "outside"

Would really appreciate it if you could provide any help. Thanks!
