Update ISO 639-1 database

How can we update the database of languages? Is there an official source?

I stumbled upon an unrecognized code nb: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bokm%C3%A5l

I used http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_ISO_639-1_codes
