Ability for admin/mod to disable hyperlink
when viewing timeline -quick way via menu to disable hyperlink -applies to current post that admin/mod is viewing
when viewing user's profile -disable all hyperlink -applies to all posts by account -for existing and future posts
Would you not instead want a domain blocking feature, where you can block domains directly from the menu? Or do you think there's enough subtlety on content on domains that you also need individual post link blocking?
I can see this being needed when url shortener are being used, like t.co which has lots of appropriate and inappropriate content.

Example user add image in post about nature and then include a link to vimeo/tiktok/youtube about something unrelated. In this case, we don't want to block entire [video sharing] domain but just want to remove the hyperlink so it is not easily clicked on
Pixelfed has something called "no autolink" but it is broken at the moment so not sure if it provides the same function
Yup, all makes sense!
