I see you designed a road with a single lane, maybe this is an edge case I did not cover, will have a look.
I stripped down the provided map2 file to two roads and it seems that you somehow managed to connect the two straight roads which are next to each other together....

I have a patch that disables road snapping during grid snapping on the main branch, need to see if this fixes your problem.
