Does this affect cpdf? Should we add one in cpdf which takes ranges?
Cpdf does not (at present) do anything with soft masks. There are two things we could do: a) Extract them separately and name them in an appropriate way to link...
(To correct a historical mistake). e.g instead of "20 20 300 300" allow "[20 20 300 300]" or similar.
Per customer: a) Add -dpi-threshold support to -jpeg-to-jpeg b) Add -jpeg-resample (together with, or in addition to -jpeg-to-jpeg)
Only mentioned in the chapter heading for now... At least one customer missed that.
Generally, more examples of this syntax in the manual would be good.
