Export main screen as image file

It would be helpful to be able to export a few lines of the main screen along with currently visible annotations as an image file, preferably vector formats like SVG to allow editing. This gives an alternative to screenshots, but all the columns not shown on the screen should appear in the saved image file. (This is a student suggestion)
