Cannot access wp-admin dashboard

Hello, I neglected to update my child-themify. Since the update was posted I have installed updates to some plug-ins and made changes to my site. Now when trying to access wp-admin dashboard I get a message saying "The connection has timed out. The server at eckankar-wi.org is taking too long to respond." I sure hope you can help! Thank you, Sue

I forgot to mention that my site is built with Divi (Elegant Themes). Thank you.

Hi @sue2earth,

With the information here, I can't really say what the issue is for sure, but you can remove or rename the child themify folder using FTP. This will deactivate the plugin. If child themify is causing the problem, that will resolve it. If it's still happening, it's not a child themify issue, but you can still use the same method to figure out what is causing the problem.
