Should there be something in the spec mentioning how items must be valid filenames? Would prevent users from being able to create Areas/Categories/IDs that can't be created on the filesystem...

Should comments be associated with Areas/Categories/IDs? Seems like it'd be easier to recreate the index with comments if e.g. comments had to be below (or beside) the item they refer...
