Launch Makes macOS Hidden Dock Appear and Stuck

I have an auto-hiding dock and it's positioned on the left side of my screen. Whenever I open Kit.app, my hidden dock appears and gets stuck on the screen until it receives user interactions. I should also mention it's one of those bugs that doesn't always reproduce reliably.

Environment

• macOS 13.4.1 (22F82)

Reproduction steps:

1. Apply such settings for your dock

2. When your dock is in hidden position, open Script Kit (Kit.app)

3. Observe your dock

Expected behavior

For the dock not to appear on the screen.

Actual behavior

The dock appears on the screen and stays on the screen ( the auto-hide feature breaks) until I directly interact with the dock.

Been running into this behavior too. Anyone have an idea what causes this?

I'm changing the behavior of the dock icon to only appear when using prompts (like editor/drop) you may want to alt+tab back to. I'll add a "never dock" option too. Hoping to have the new build out this week
