can not login
I think a different issue than the previous poster's. I just installed the extension and when I put in my login credentials I get this error: Unexpected token < in JSON at position 0
I'm using Vivaldi browser (Chromium based) on Linux Mint 20 and have had no problem w/ this clipper on 2 other machines using the same browser. I just updated this system so had to reinstall software including Standard Notes app and the web clipper. The desktop app works fine but I'm not able to log in to the web clipper on this machine now. Still works fine on my laptop (also Linux and Vivaldi).
I have the same problem, using the Brave browser also Chromium based..same error message. Hopefully this can be fixed?
ditto, the same error message with Chrome on Ubuntu 20.04, is there any additional info that will help?
Get the same issue with both Chrome and Firefox on MacOS 10.15.7 in Chrome the error is 'SyntaxError: Unexpected token < in JSON at position 0'
I was able to reproduce this issue on Microsoft Edge as well. The extension was working before the Chromium-based browsers updated to something that broke it. It doesn't matter whether the user signs into an account using the older encryption suite.
I'll take a look in the next few days now that I have the ability to maintain this project.
Update:
The Javascript library used in the SN Web Clipper is no longer supported by Standard Notes, That package is obsolete. The new package is SNJS. I am working on doing a refactor using the new SN JS library. We will need about a week to have this done then will need to test and create a new release.
