Just tried your library - very cool, thank you for creating and sharing it :)

FYI, the example in the README only works if filename is completely uppercased:

pat, _ = autoguess_life_file("lifep/gun30.lif") 

=>

pat, _ = autoguess_life_file("lifep/GUN30.LIF")
